So my dear followers, it’s time for the first 100 smile challenge, starting on Tuesday the 1st we will be slowly increasing the number of smiles we seek every day. The ultimate goal is to finish on July 1st with 100 smiles. Talk about fireworks. (That’s a 4th of July reference and a smile.) Here are some tips, and if you just care about the prizes, scroll to the bottom.

  • Part of it is all in how you count.
  • Doing more then 10 is easier when you are more specific. Instead of just saying “The conversation with my friend.” Mention the specific phrases that made you smile, you’ll probably get 3 smiles out of the conversation instead of just one.
  • Try and keep track during the day. Carry a small notepad. I know this is more work, but if you are going to be a detective then you need your little notepad. It also slows us down for a few minutes when we pause to write them down. Most of us need those few minutes and don’t take them.
  • Don’t look ahead too far, just notate the smiles, save some for tomorrow if you go over the limit, the memory of a smile often is a smile again.

Ok, I know you are all greedy, you wanna know the prizes…..
